The address for each Marine Corps League Middle Peninsula Detachment 1317 General membership meetings will be at American Legion Post 75 in Gloucester.

The general membership meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of every month, unless noted by Senior Leadership.  

The March 12, 2025 meeting will be at American Legion Post 75.  Please arrive by 6:00 PM/1800 Hours if you want to eat before the meeting.  The meeting will start about 7:00 PM/1900 Hours.  The address for American Legion Post 75 is 5849 American Legion Way, Gloucester, VA 23061.    

The dates of the Marine Corps League Middle Peninsula Detachment 1317 General Membership meetings for the remainder of 2025 are March 12, April 9, May 14, June 11, July 9, August 13, September 10, October 8, November 12, and December 10.  

The Middle Peninsula Detachment Officers meeting is normally every month on the 4th Friday unless noted by Senior Leadership. 

The Marine Corps League Middle Peninsula Detachment 1317 Officers meeting for February 7, 2025 is cancelled.  The next MCL 1317 Officers meeting is TBD.  The meeting will start at 6:30 PM.

• The February MCL 1317 General Membership meeting is now cancelled.  Due to inclement weather for the 2nd straight week, the meeting is cancelled.  It won't be rescheduled.  The next MCL 1317 General Membership meeting will be March 12 at American Legion Post 75.

• The April 9, 2025 Marine Corps League Middle Peninsula Detachment 1317 meeting will elect the 2025-2026 officers.  The positions that are up for election are Commandant, Senior Vice Commandant, Junior Vice Commandant, and Judge Advocate.  The names interested will be put on the ballot at the March 12 MCL 1317 General Membership meeting.  If you are interested in running for one of these positions, please inform Judge Advocate Ronnie Toms or Adjutant/Paymaster Jodey Clements.  

1.  Who can join the Marine Corps League?

Individuals that are current and prior service Marines, Navy FMF Corpsmen, and Navy Chaplains who honorably served or are serving are welcome to submit an application for consideration.

Individuals who did not serve in the Marine Corps, but who share the Marine values and the purpose of the Marine Corps League may also join by applying for Associate Member status.

2.  When are the general membership meetings held?

The Marine Corps League Middle Peninsula Detachment 1317 General membership meeting are held every 2nd Wednesday of the month at American Legion Post 75 in Gloucester.  

If folks would like dinner, it will be served from 6:00 PM-6:40 PM (1800-1840 Hours).  

• March 12, 2025-Marine Corps League Middle Peninsula Detachment 1317 meeting.  The meeting will start at 7:00 PM/1900 Hours at American Legion Post 75 in Gloucester.  If you want to have dinner, please show up by 6:00 PM/1800 Hours.  The main dish of TBD, water, and iced tea will be served for a suggested donation of $10.00.  Dinner will be served from 6:00 PM-6:40 PM (1800-1840 Hours).  The names to be placed on the ballot for the 2025-2026 Officers will be done at this meeting.  The positions up for election for MCL 1317 are Commandant, Senior Vice Commandant, Junior Vice Commandant, and Judge Advocate.  The address for American Legion Post 75 is 5849 American Legion Way, Gloucester, VA 23601.
